New Boiler Installation in Hampshire

The Brief

A family in Waterlooville had an ageing boiler that was becoming unreliable and costly to run. They wanted a modern, high-efficiency replacement fitted by a Gas Safe registered engineer, with as little disruption to the household as possible. The aim was to have the old boiler out and the new one up and running the same day.

What We Did

Our work included:

• Removed the old boiler: Safely isolated the gas and water, then disconnected and removed the old unit ready for the replacement.
• Prepared for the new boiler: Checked the flue, gas supply and pipework, and made the adjustments needed for the new unit to fit correctly.
• Installed the new boiler: Fitted the new high-efficiency boiler and connected the gas, water and heating pipework to manufacturer specification.
• Commissioned and tested: Filled and pressurised the system, then commissioned the boiler and checked all controls and safety devices were working correctly.
• Registered the warranty: Registered the new boiler with the manufacturer so the homeowner has the full warranty in place.
• Handover: Showed the homeowner how to operate the boiler and controls, and left the area clean and tidy.

The Result

A modern, reliable boiler installed and fully commissioned in a single day by a Gas Safe registered engineer. The household has consistent heating and hot water, lower running costs from the more efficient unit, and the manufacturer warranty registered for peace of mind. The old boiler was removed and taken away, so there was nothing left for the homeowner to sort out.
